    The five steps to your AIESEC internship Search for an Opportunity Go through the thousands of opportunities in our pla orm and apply for the internships which suit you If you are looking for an opportunity starting more than 6 months from now chances are you won t find many Sign up and we will contact you Apply Once you click apply you ll be asked to sign up and create an account in our global platform and one of our local offices will contact you to schedule an interview A member of AIESEC will assist you throughout the whole process Accepted When you find the perfect program and you match the criteria you ll be interviewed by AIESEC members from the hosting country If you are accepted by the hosting country the sending entity AIESEC in Denmark will need to approve your internship Approved After paying the internship fee you are approved by both sides It s now time to book your flights get your visa and insurance and attend our mandatory Outgoing Preparation Seminar Wherever you decide to have your experience AIESEC will be with you to ensure a safe and impactful experience Create an impact in the World The impact of your exchange is not constrained to the project you choose but also applies to you and the mindset you can bring back home It is after returning that the fruits of your exchange will be visible Our country partners Even though you can find our internships almost all over the World we have established partnerships that make the process easier and faster for you with the following countries Germany Spain Belgium Hungary Pricing Browsing through our internships in our Opportunities Portal is free of charge Once a match has been made between the exchange participant and

    Middle East region this was the first non European presence in AIESEC and also into Greece This year AIESEC passed 1 000 international exchange experiences for the first time AIESEC exchanges filled to date 0 0 3 5 3 0 1964 An audience with the Pope AIESEC s supporter base reaches fever pitch as Pope Paul VI welcomes AIESEC s global leadership teams to international congress 1964 in Rome Italy 1967 Pushing digital frontiers With annual global exchange numbers surpassing the 4 500 mark manual matching of students to traineeships just couldn t cut it MIT students with the support of IBM break huge ground with the implementation of computerised systems AIESEC exchanges filled to date 0 3 9 3 2 9 1977 By 1977 AIESEC had full member committees in 50 countries across 6 continents Even more exciting was the fact that this expansion didn t show any sign of slowing despite a global depression 1984 For the first time ever the network breaks the 5 000 international exchange mark in one calendar year The feat is commended by supporters as an unprecedented achievement of students facilitating the experiences of their colleagues 1984 AIESEC exchanges filled to date 1 1 0 1 0 7 1989 The AIESEC way The network is united with a new mission statement What we Envision peace and fulfilment of humankind s potential 2005 A mid term ambition Delegates at International Congress 2005 develop a mid term ambition to push the organisation to achieve a greater impact Generation 2010 enters with the goal of achieving annual exchanges exceeding 10 000 by 2010 2008 The AIESEC way The AIESEC way evolves to include a descriptor AIESEC is a global non political independent not for profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher
