    has actively participated in mineral exploration in Greenland We have been involved through various trade fairs in Canada and China events in Greenland and as a consultant for several mining companies says Ole Ulriksen Development Manager for Blue Water s activities in the North Atlantic It is the Canadian company True North Gems which is in the process of construction of the mine and production is expected to start in late 2015 A large part of the production takes place at the mine and in Nuuk there s a construction of a facility for recording sorting and cleaning stones The majority of production equipment crew modules and miscellaneous items will be transported via Nuuk to the mine The equipment is expected to include between 30 and 40 containers In addition there will be several special projects with large modules and air freight tasks Blue Water has been chosen for the project because of the experience of Greenland and an international network which can coordinate shipments from around the world Blue Water has a large local commitment and uses Greenlandic workforce to its fullest extent Source Blue Water Shipping Maritime Denmark Front page Copyright Maritime Denmark Breaking News Maritime Denmark media
